CN: Sexual Harassment at work My facebook page just got sent an audio clip of a man masturbating. Presumably, it is a recording of the man who sent it. I'm thinking so many things right now. ... How many other people has he sent this too? If I block and move on, does that just encourage his behaviour? Might this escalate into more violent acts? Since it came into my place of work, should I bring this message into his place of work? If I do, what would happen? Is him losing his job the outcome I want of this? Does he go into people's home in his work? Does he interact with women one-on-one in his work? Does he maybe need to not do that work for the safety of everyone? Could I maybe convince his employer to mandate sexual harassment training for him? Does anyone want to put in that much work into this guy? How much work do I want to put into this guy? Why do I even have to put any work into this entire thought exercise of some random guy who lives in Nebraska? Why do we all have to put thought into this now? Oh. Because he e-mailed me an audio clip of him masturbating. That's why.

I dug up this old thread for a blog post I'm working on. It's really too good of advice not to share the post in its entirety.
