I have made the decision to open June 1. In the next few days I think the Provincial Health Officer will lift the mandate that had all salons closed until May 30. For the health of my clients, myself and our families, I feel confidant that opening June 1 is the right choice. I have been working on acquiring all PPE required to operate as safely as possible. I will be contacting everyone on my waitlist tomorrow, then will open up my appointment book on Friday. Due to Covid19,... I have implemented new policies and procedures to ensure the heath and safety of my clients, myself and our families. 1) If you are feeling the slightest bit sick please reschedule. Even if it is 5 minutes before your appointment. 2) If yourself or anyone in your "bubble" has been exposed or diagnosed with Civid19, please reschedule. 3) Please text me when you arrive (604.328.9930) and I will tell you when you can come in. I will have a sitting area outside my gate that you are welcome it sit in when the weather is nice, otherwise please wait in your car. 4) Appointments times have been extended to allow for cleaning between each client. It is going to take me a few weeks to get a handle on how much time I need, so feel free to come a few minutes early and text me. I also request your patience incase I am running late. 4) When you arrive please wash your hands. 5) I will have masks ready by the sink for each client. If you have your own please feel free to bring it. 6) I will have disposable capes and for each client. 7) I cannot have more then one person at a time. Please do not bring your children or anyone else. Please keep in mind that what I have implemented may change to adhere to guidelines set out by the PHO. The PPE required for each service, as well other expenses that allow me to be open right now has unfortunately led to me needing to increase my prices. I have adjusted them accordingly, so you are able to see them when booking. I cant wait to catch up with every one of my clients!

Good morning, I can see many of you are optimistic and hoping for a June 1st opening, as I have had multiple bookings over the last few days. I was also feeling optimistic about a June 1st opening, but as the month is progressing I am feeling less so. ... The rules and regulations currently governing the industry are set by the provincial government and as with most other industry there is no " Incase of a pandemic plan". Until there is industry wide standard set, it is unlikely we will be open. In additon to this, we need to be able to access whatever equipment we need to be able to follow the regulations. If salons try to open before we are allowed there is a fine of up to $25,000 and possible jail time. I have started to purchase what I can based on regulations put out in different provinces and states. As you can imagine this is no easy task. if you have a June appointment please keep it, if you do not, please put yourself on the waiting list and provided me a few dates/times you think will work. I promise as soon as I can open with all the right protective gear I will and will contact everyone on the waiting list to get the earliest appointment possible. I am missing all my clients and want to get back to work as soon as possible! thank you

This headline is very misleading. We are all preparing to open as soon as we are allowed to as a collective group. Salons won’t be opened one by one. I am getting lots of messages asking when I will be opening as headlines like this make it sound like we can open soon. At this point the order still stands that the earliest we can open in June 1. I have opened up my appt book for June 1st, fingers crossed we will be able to operate. Please feel free to book a June appointmen...t, but keep in mind it may need to be rescheduled. I will be sending a email out to all my clients next week outlining the new policies and procedures that will be implemented when I open. I miss all of you and can’t wait to catch up!

I wish I had curls like you, mine is just frizzy I hear that all the time. Know what the difference is between these two pictures ( other then the snap chat filter)? Curl product and a defuser. That’s it! One is air dried with no product and one is blow dried with a defuser and one curl product. Good curls don’t happen over night, we have to retrain them after not embracing them for so long. Which means committing to not straighten you hair for a while. Let’s be honest ...we are all stuck at home with nothing to do, when is a better time to do this then now! All in stock AG products are 25% of right now.
