PMU aka " Pissing Farms" farms were numerous in western Canada about 20 years ago until the public was made aware of how the hormone was collected: out of the urine of pregnant mares kept in standing stalls 24/7 with a catether inserted into their bladder. Once the mares gave birth, they were separated from their babies as soon as possible so that they could be bred again. The foals and fillies were simply unwanted byproduct and were usully sent to slaughter. Yukon is a PMU foal who made his way to us by God' s grace.
