This is a tiny corner of the studio I had in the North Okanagan. It is a 25x45-foot straw bale building with 10-foot ceilings. I had a natural gas radiant heater put in and finished the ceiling. Spent 10 great years in there, making pots, glazes, teaching kids and adults, and learning a whole bunch about myself. We are now getting ready to turn the garage here in Kimberley into my new studio. It is a really solid building but needs a garage door, windows, electric service and water line. It will get done, and the buffalo skull will rise again.

Happy to share some of my bisqued Christmas decorations with Centre 64 and the kids of Kimberley. I have a vast collection of old metal cookie cutters obtained from thrift stores over the years. When I am doing slab work, any leftover slab pieces become these decorations. The can be painted with acrylics and hung on the tree, or sent to grandma, because grandma always loves whatever the kids do.
