Weird story: if you’ve followed me for a long time you know that I used to teach workshops on how to create and care for succulent terrariums and arrangements. At one point about 5 years ago, I was lovingly caring for 700+ succulents in my kitchen and collecting some really rare and beautiful ones. In the middle of a series of 7 workshops, I was pregnant and dealing with some serious morning sickness. The succulent workshops ran their course but I couldn’t do them again becau...se the sight of certain succulents TO THIS DAY makes me nauseous. Why I couldn’t have developed a permanent aversion to, oh, carbs instead of small, cute plants is a shame and a mystery.
