The date was c...hosen in honour of the birthday of Canadian Sir Frederick G. Banting, who, along with Dr. Charles Best (founder of the Canadian Diabetes Association now known as Diabetes Canada), JJR Macleod and James Collip, are credited with the discovery of insulin. We are back! Covid style! Being safe and keeping our candidates safe being our number one priority. Three 6 hour sessions = 68 newly trained HCP-CPR candidates for @heffernanfirstaid and @mcmasterswimswimswim at the Trent Athletics Centre.

A little throw back. This cutie is much bigger now. Cannot wait to get back to teaching some fun first aid!

Alyssa sure is missing teaching and cannot wait to get back to sharing her love for first aid soon. Hope everyone is having a nice summer!
