We're talking about those moments when you want to run and hide, when you're just so tired of trying because no one is understanding you, when no matter what you do it doesn't feel like enough in any aspect of your life. Take a step back and take 1 single, deep breath. Have you been acting out of fear or out of love?... Have your actions been conditional or unconditional? Have you been focused on the past/future or the present? Come back to yourself. Come back to the here and now. Let your feelings settle in, flow, then settle out. Know that moments of lack are rooted in fear. Know that actions of tearing down are conditional in that fear and know that those you wish would understand are likely in a similar state of fear as you are or simply, truly having no idea that there's anything being misunderstood. Have compassion, for those who misunderstand you, including for yourself. Know that this doesn't mean you need to keep what no longer serves you, it simply allows you to reflect on it more purely and release it with greater ease. Courage is in your vulnerability, in your ability to trust, in your ability to lead with love. All is as it should be. These are our cutest pair of socks! Something so simple brings so much happiness. They come with the reminder that you are not alone. Someone somewhere:... Feels the same way you feel. Has been through/is going through what you're going through. Responded the same way you responded. Made the same decision you made or are wanting to make. Plus, our favourite mental health resources (which are for health on every level, not just mental because our entire being works together and is affected accordingly): Slow, deep breaths. Grounding (being in nature). Energy Healing and Coaching (Reiki, Intuitive Guidance/Readings) especially because it provides us with a safe space to feel all the feels and validates that what we're feeling isn't crazy, it's necessary, healthy and healing. A solid workout, harnessing whatever we need to feel more of that day (eg. powerful, calm, energized). Meditation (sometimes a super short one because that moment of choosing to be present is powerful). Movies and Food - feeling safe and supported, prompting us to feel all the feels, choosing to indulge consciously and being present during it.
