This year, in an effort to respond to the Covid 19 pandemic, Communities in Bloom has created a campaign to celebrate the return to some sort of normalcy in our... lives. Across Canada and beyond, our goal is to see the land awash with gardens featuring yellow, the international colour of hope. From parks to playgrounds, front yards, back yards, balconies, baskets, boulevards, barrels and planters, wherever there’s an empty space, there is room for a plant, and together we can, and we will, make this happen! Register your garden today. . . . . . #hopeisgrowing #communitiesinbloom #cibcef #cnlaacpp #gardencentrescanada #GCFoundationCA #yellow #gardens #morethanjustflowers #communityinvolvement #communityfirst #localgov #cities #municipalities #towns

In honor of April Fool's we're going to talk about this sneaky invasive plant that so often fools British Columbians into thinking it's a wildflower! Orange haw...kweed is originally from Europe, and can create dense mats that crowd out native plants. Hawkweeds spread quickly through above ground runners, horizontal roots, and seeds. It is considered a noxious weed in many parts of BC. If you see this flower, don't pick it! See more

Good-bye 'old green' and Hello NEW TRUCK :) Thanks to @mertingm for the trade-in and beautiful new crew truck! We sure are getting ready for the season :) Went... for a quick weekday morning ski before more office and set up. Visits to the @Rooster Roost are always a welcome distraction! #heikedesigns #landscaperslife #landscapers_of_instagram #worklove #workhardplay #getready #seasoniscoming

So often we all get to anxious and just want to clean it all up... Have patience until the temperature is warm enough so critters safely emerge! And let's leave some 'stuff' on site.
