Four years ago we asked for one thing for Christmas & that was your support & holy shit ... 4 years later and we can’t thank you enough for all your support. Wether you’ve hired heirloom projects , stalked us via social media, or told a friend about us ... we truly could not have done this with out you. Thank you for making this families dreams continue to come true. (+ shout out to our staff who have jumped onto this dream train with us.) After today’s chaos of a new phone - multi meeting Tuesday, I should probably jump into this bath and relax. But we all know that I will continue to work and try googling all the Apple icloud issues im experiencing.

I have an arch problem... . . . it’s mostly our framers and drywallers that think it’s a problem.

The time has come for us to share the final space of our homes addition ! This bedroom doesn’t have a before because (just like the en-suite) it was non existent prior to this project! We added a total of 550 carefully planned square feet to the rear of our home which granted us the ability to have a master bedroom that feels like a retreat (along side our ensuite, of course). . . . Let us know what you think in the comments ! We are smitten .

When we designed our ensuite and included our linen closet, I never once thought about exactly how I was going to fill it with some of my favourite items while having to justify their usefulness to my husband. But here we are. No, you may not put your bleach stained 10 year old towel in there. Yes, I will use those bath salts! & The classic battle of aesthetic vs. function continues.

Jacob has spent his Sunday watching football. I’ve spent my Sunday thinking about a soak in the bathtub. Tomato-tomatoe .

Just because your kitchen is narrow doesn’t mean you can’t have seating at your island . Get creative !

We are so excited to share the completion of our new west bungalow kitchen with you. . . This project had so many surprises , but luckily great ones followed the bad ones... like discovering a vault & stunning solid lumber beams when removing asbestos. A classic case of you win some , you lose some.

I tell ya ... If ONE more persons asks me if I purchase dogs to match my home .... . . . (The answer is clearly no. I buy dogs based on their ability to ignore all commands and love me unconditionally )

In 2018 we made our first purchase for our addition. Long before construction started, before we had our permit, just as we finalized our design concept. We wanted a European vibe with both modern and traditional features. We wanted the space to feel comforting while at the same time make us question is this really our home, or are we in some 5 star Parisian hotel?! . We wanted the space to invoke emotion & these doors seemed like the perfect starting point. They survived... nearly 100 years only to be shipped across borders and installed in our bathroom. I’m not sure If you believe in fate. But to me these doors were made to be here.
