In March & April this year we assisted in the process of numerous Insurance claims with Manulife (Our Ins provider with the Travel Agent Next Door) for our clients). At the same time we also made a claim for ourselves using the policy attached to our credit card. Never again, I will opt for Manulife every time, the policy on our card paid out 2 months after Manulife and 3 times they deflected by asking for the same information each time. So while Manulife were slow due to the huge demand they were still much superior to the policy offered by my credit card.

Now Westjet is offering a no-charge policy for their flights and vacations. WestJet is announcing no-charge COVID-19 travel insurance coverage for eligible guests booking travel to Mexico, the Caribbean and European destinations including the United Kingdom. For reservations made on or after September 18, 2020, any WestJet air-only reservation including WestJet Vacations bookings for travel to and from Mexico, the Caribbean (excluding the U.S.), Europe (including U.K.) and in...bound to Canada will provide eligible guests no-charge COVID-19 travel insurance through new partner TuGo. Coverage will be automatically applied at no additional charge to eligible guests at the time of purchase for travel until August 31, 2021 for up to 21 days. One-way travel reservations will also be eligible for coverage for up to seven days.
