The title of my novel, "The Ghosts of Thorwald Place" pays homage to one of my favourite movies and an inspiration for this novel, "Rear Window". Lars Thorwald was the villain in this classic Hitchcock film.

As promised, a sneak peek of my story "Aunt Agatha's Antiques" in Mother Ghost's Grimm Anthology Volume 2... The store appeared as if out of nowhere. It was burrowed between a bakery and a shoe store near the end of Main Street. I was sure I had never seen it before, and I walked down this street every day on my way home from school. It was a Sunday afternoon. The usually busy street was deserted. Robby didn’t seem to notice anything out of the ordinary, but his eyes were fo...cused on his soccer ball, which he kicked with grass-stained cleats. Aunt Agatha’s Antiques was painted in gold letters on the glass storefront. The inside was dark, despite the wooden ‘open’ sign that hung unevenly on the door. The store looked old and run-down, as if it had been there for years. Why hadn’t I noticed it before? The front door stood open, revealing the darkened interior. I hadn’t realized I had stopped walking until I felt a tug on my sleeve. I looked down into Robby’s brilliant blue eyes. Can we go in? he asked. I don’t know I looked back up at the store, then down the empty street. Where was everyone? Pleeeeeaase? Okay, but not for too long. It’s almost suppertime. Thanks, Sara! You’re the best sister ever!
