Hello everyone! Helen & I recently decided to delete our personal instagrams. Helen has felt passionately about limiting her time on social media platforms. She feels that Instagram has limited longevity due to its superficiality. She is writing a book documenting 30 individuals 30 day detox from social media. Inspired by her, I decided to try to delete my own instagram for a year, putting a limit on it felt easier than deleting it forever. We understand that some couples p...refer to connect on this platform so we still want it to represent us well. This is just a disclaimer that it won’t be perfect, it will be more of an honest scrapbook to portray our personalities. It can be so overwhelming to see the amount of time that can be spent on the platform so instead, we will be using our time to be creative and to do sports. We are absolutely loving all of the snow lately. It’s so fun shooting in a winter wonderland

From the heli pad to lakeside. Yesterday’s elopement changed last minute but was absolutely beautiful. Thanks to @blackcombhelicopters for adapting so quickly and thank to this lovely couple for embracing the change.

A couple months ago Helen and I went on an adventure up north. We left Whistler with absolutely no plan other then heading north and sleeping in the car. We stopped along the way to take photos of the autumn colours, to almost get locked into a camp ground, and swim in a freezing cold river in October. We ended up driving down a dirt road after a few hours to find somewhere free to sleep. Luckily we happened upon a beautiful lake with a fire pit and a picnic bench beside a few other rvs. This lake was one of the most quiet places I have ever experienced and we drank wine in our camp chairs beside it. We attempted to make a fire out of wet wood around camp until our friendly neighbours came over, gave us firewood and poured canola oil over everything creating a ridiculously large fire..

What an absolutely beautiful day at Alexander Falls with the @whistler_weddingpastor . These two were so much fun to spend the day with and were a joy to photograph.

These two were the most sweet and excitable duo. They met in jail working as self proclaimed "lobster crackers". Their amazing energy made this day one to remember.
