The outdoors is the center point in our lives here at Heliconia, and environmental consciousness and sustainability is in our DNA. We travel around the globe producing shows that promote the tremendous benefits that adventure travel has on local cultures, economies, and conservation efforts, but we are also very aware that travel contributes significantly to carbon dioxide emissions, the root cause of global warming. Heliconia, in partnership with the Adventure Travel Trade Association, is proud to be a Champion supporter of Tomorrow's Air the first ever global collective to clean up carbon from the atmosphere, ensuring this air for future generations. After a 4-month long break due to COVID-19, we're super excited to get back to filming! While our international filming plans have had to be postponed, we are thrilled to have this opportunity to turn the lens on our beautiful home province of Ontario. Starting this weekend, our small, and COVID-19 cautious, crew will be embarking on an epic Ontario road trip to film 8 new episodes of Paddle Tales. Destinations featured will include Bon Echo, the Thousand Islands, the Madawa...ska River, the Ottawa River, Killarney Provincial Park, Big Creek and Long Point in Norfolk County, and Algonquin Provincial Park. The episodes will highlight some of the incredible water-based adventures that Ontario has to offer, fuel wanderlust in viewers, and hopefully help the recovery efforts of the Ontario tourism industry.
