I don’t often post about my personal life on my business accounts but today I was blessed to be sitting with my Grandmother as she celebrates her 90th Birthday and I couldn’t help but spend a moment looking at her skin. She has incredibly smooth and soft skin with barely any deep set wrinkles. Growing up I remember always seeing her wearing a hat outdoors to protect her skin and she never fussed with tons of skincare products which is something she and I both have in common. I don’t have an overly complicated skincare regime. I nourish my skin with only the essentials and spot/problem solve as needed. Moral of this little story... follow the KISS rule when it comes to skincare (Keep It Simple Sista).

Nothing makes me happier than seeing instant results after a facial. My Acne Facial is just that facial. It is a layered treatment focused on targeting the acne-causing bacteria and the sebaceous glands. I want to address what’s happening below the skin and not just what’s on the surface and the results are evident as shown on my gorgeous client. For moderate acne; treatments are recommended twice per month and then once per month for maintenance.... Not intended for those with cystic acne. $60 per treatment.

And unless you’re changing your pillowcase everyday, there is oil and bacteria from your oily hair left on the pillow and then you rest your face on that same pillow. Night Cleanse: You are literally washing off the day. Think of how many times you touch your face in a day. There is a significant accumulation of oil, dirt and bacteria on your face. For me, cleansing the skin is more ...than just washing off oil and dirt. There’s something to be said about a good morning cleanse to prep your skin for the day. The same goes for my evening cleanse... I tend to spend more time really working in my skincare. We heal when we sleep and I make sure my skin is given the nourishment needed to support the healing.
