Well we’ve made it everyone. The last day of 2020, clocks are ticking and we are about to bid farewell and welcome 2021 - I know we are all ready for it! And even though it looks a little different this year, I wanted to take a moment to recap everything we are grateful for. In march, the world freaking shut down on us. And yeah, that had challenges, but it also let us slow down and focus on the things that are important to us. Family, friends and especially for Hello Potte...ry - creativity. HP was born out of the realization that I missed clay. Being able to create something out of nothing and the calm that comes with it. So when I finally convinced Robyn to #MoveToCollingwood (Woo! This was a 5 year project), I called her up and pitched her my crazy idea to bring pottery to collingwood - and she was in. We spent so many hours labouring and dreaming up a space for this community to reconnect with their own creative/artistic side. When we finally opened the doors to our shop + studio, the best part of our 2020 has been spending time with you, hearing your pottery stories and your experiences and sharing this special place with you guys! I’m sure 2021 will have it’s curveballs. But I know we will continue to be in touch with our creative side at Hello Pottery, and share that creativity with all if you! Happy New Years everyone.
