Bah Humbug 2020...although just like this hand lettered design I made, there was still beauty. You just had to look for it. Happy Festivus for the rest of us! The only grievances I have this year are for anyone not staying home. If you don’t have to go out, please don’t. Our health care workers need us to stay home and not visit with people this year. Our vulnerable family members need us to stay home. I miss my friends. I miss my family. But I’m doing it for them. So that next year we can all air our grievances and battle in the feats of strength together, like Frank Costanza intended.

With the new announcement about MB going to stricter measures it seems appropriate to share this little branding project I did back in April. The Pandemic Kitchen is a cooking club that meets over zoom and cooks items with what they have on hand. Making burgers but don’t have any meat? Use some beans and make a bean burger. Missing the bun? How about toast or lettuce! As we all try to again flatten the curve for our hospitals and front line workers take the time to find something new to do. And if you need some branding or design done in the meantime, message me! Being a self-employed person in a pandemic is no joke.

One very cool upside to Covid is that it brought me a pretty cool new client. I created these illustrations for @annemulaire to help communicate with her customers on how to care for their masks. The style is inspired by her fashion sketches and uses secondary brand colours to subtly add some dimension. _ Did you know you should wash them after every use which can be done in a glass with some hot water and detergent and always put them on with clean hands! _ #studio312designs #wearamask #healthycanadians @ Winnipeg, MB, Canada
