Help Find Toffee

If you are out walking this evening in Paradise, please keep a close eye out for Toffee. It appears this is when she is most active. Here are some things I can infer from the Toffee sightings: - she hides during the day - she comes out at dusk... - she is traveling primarily at night - she hasn't allowed anyone to approach her... yet. - she was in the Holy Family area but has now ventured down as far as Topsail and Karwood. Please continue to share these posts. Sightings are our best chance of bringing Toffee home. Thank you for all your support!

Someone just called with a probable sighting. On topsail at Trails End heading into paradise. Ran across the road. ***Update: we couldn’t find her. If you are in and around Karwood Drive or Neil’s Pond areas tomorrow please keep an eye out. Thank you

Update: Toffee will not be returning home RIP our sweet dog. The Story of Toffee Our Special Needs Pup... You may have noted certain words appear on the many posts and page I’ve created in an effort to get my dog back home safely. Words like shy and timid are deliberately placed in each of my communications. To those who know Toffee these words have become synonymous with her. Toffee came to us from the SPCA after just having a litter of pups and by all accounts having had a very difficult life. She was scared of nearly everyone and everything, and after five years of love and attention she still has many of these issues and is not a normal dog. To us, progress is an occasional tail wag or sniffed tree. But we love her with all our hearts. This was the first time in five years she spent time without me or my husband, and she escaped from the dog sitter on the first night. Toffee needs your help. She is not out having an adventure and will wander home unfazed by it all. She’s alone and scared. She’s away from home and doesn’t know how to get back. She is likely hiding - in a shed, under a deck, in the woods. Perhaps if people like and share this page the right person will see it and take a conscious look around them as they go on with their day. She’s a very special dog and any special effort and attention you can spare to keep an eye out for her and help us bring her home would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Glenda

Hey everyone. Toffee is still missing. There haven’t been any sightings today. She’s such a timid dog that she may be hidden away somewhere.
