This year, I will be challenging the Chief to climb 775 vertical feet 1204 steps or 55 floors of Calgary’s BOW Tower in full firefighter duty gear, in hopes to raise $10,000 for Wellspring Calgary and the Firefighters Assistance Charitable Society (FACS). Many of us, including myself, have been affected by cancer in some way, shape or form. The Wellspring is a warm and welcoming community that provides a range of support, resources and programs to those living with cancer and their caregivers. All of what Wellspring provides is offered free of charge and without a referral. Wellspring Calgary needs our support to ensure no one has to face cancer alone.
