Helping Hands

Today we received our first confirmed virus in Threehills/hwy 21 area.... I want to send out a heart filled prayer to each and every one of you and your families. Please stay at home if you can and if you cant, please just be safe!

Due to the new WHO release to government officials and recommendations how to reduce transmissions as well as leaving it as a voluntary action..... We have to make our own decisions. I took in account how other countries are being progressive and how others did not. The growth rate was extremely different. I also took into account our populations majority of elderly and young children. I also took into account should the virus come to carbon, the likely hood of the transmissi...on of donations from households to other households. And how we would ever be able to clean the store of the virus should it come into the store. Personally, I couldnt handle knowing i or my store could ever be responsible for a transmission or a person dying on our account by opening knowing it's safe now but if we open it may not be from here out as it has now come to central alberta. With that in mind, I have decided to close our winter hours for the thrift store and will look again at re opening again in 30 days. UHaul will continue to run as we can do so outside via laptop and keep the virus out of the store.
