Hemperial apothecary Education My news feed is preparing for the usa thanksgiving holiday Canadians have had their gobble gobble holiday but if you love turkey enjoy this holiday with our friends south of the border lol lol We all know that when we eat those fantastic turkey dinners at Moms or Grandma house . This year might be a bit different you might have to cook it at home .Today we are sharing a diffuser blend for fall and these occasion when we tend to indulge a bit T...hese oils help support a healthy immune system, while calming emotional tension 4 drops of White Pine oil ( White pine essential oil has a fresh, evergreen, woodsy scentcrisp and clean! Yet there’s a calming aspect to the aroma that helps unwind tension (both physically and emotionally). Since white pine oil is also helpful for opening the breath, it’s a wonderful choice for difficult evenings during cold season.) 2 drops of Frankincense ( The aroma of frankincensefresh, balsamic, warm, and woodsyhas helped create sacred spaces throughout history where peace and connection to self is possible. Frankincense oil can help support clear, deep breathingwhether it’s used in meditation, during cold season, or to strengthen the breath and chest on an ongoing basis.) 2 drops of Lavender ( A must-have essential oil for any collection! Lavender is one of the most versatile oils in the aromatherapy world. With a soft, floral, fresh aroma, lavender is gentle, yet effective enough for nurturing tender areas through a challenging recovery process.) 1 drop of Patchouli (Patchouli essential oil’s strong, earthy, sweet, woodsy aroma is complex. You may detect spicy, balsamic, and even herbal notes. These nuances come together for an intensely relaxing scent that’s popular in perfumes, and for meditation. Patchouli oil seems to calm everything downuse it for skincare to quiet red, tender spots, and to purify skin’s surface.) Give this blend a try the oils are lovely grounding and in our part of the planet the woods , the great outdoors are our playground during these winter months and this diffuser blend will bring those outdoor memories to life and keep working with your immune system in these odd times we are living through . Enjoy !!! To all my American friends and family Have a peaceful Thanksgiving holiday .

Hemperial apothecary Education Acebuche Oil, Spain New oil to me how about you ?!?... Olea oleaster, or sylvestris, the botanical name of the wild Acebuchina fruit, indigenous to the mountainous regions that circle the Mediterranean including the Sierra Magina of Spain that we visited, predate even the cultivated olive groves of ancient Greece and Rome. You might wonder why the acebuche oil is so special and I’ll begin by saying that the oil is amazing for both eating and for caring for the skin. That this wildness still exists in a vast sea of cultivation is a gift of nature. The flesh of the tiny fruit is very thin over the small pit in comparison to the usual olives that are pressed for olive oil. The fruit is also extremely bitter when green but when ripe produces a wonderfully complex, rich and pungent oil that anecdotally has helped cure a variety of skin and health conditions used externally. Acebuchina oil contains more than twice as many antioxidants and vitamin E as extra virgin olive oil. Its unmatched properties make it healthier and more beneficial for your cardiovascular system. posted by Janice Cyre student aromatherapy certification program certificate lipid oil academy Labcannabist Sharing the knowledge

Hemperial Apothecary Education Today we are going to share the knowledge about horticultural world blending it in with holistic world Wild violets are the som...e of the first flowers to bloom in the spring covering the lawns with tiny white and purple flowers. Most folks are aware of the familiar violet genus ( Viola spp,.Violaceae ) However I dont think folks are not familiar with violets second kind of flowers, which grow hidden underground , never opening their petals to light of the day. These cleistogamous flowers never open to pollinator or breeze yet produce viable seeds. The fruits develop underground and release their seeds directly into the soil or close to the surface. Fairies have been known to gather up these iridescent seeds and string them into necklaces if you believe in the fairies lol lol Wild violets have helped treat many conditions over several centuries. Wild violets help treat flu viruses and bronchitis. Overall, they are a gentle immune system stimulant. Wild violets also contain a phytochemical called rutin, anti inflammatory and antioxidant that helps neutralize damaging free radicals and prevent chronic disease like cancer. The wintergreen taste in some wild violets is due to the salicylic acid content, which helps clear skin abrasions with its disinfecting and active fungicidal properties. Salicylic acid also reduces pain and swelling and therefore, violet leaves and flowers used in the form of a poultice will soothe inflamed skin sores varicose veins hemorrhoids and skin infections Most research reflect that infusing violets in vinegar is the best way to extract the medicinal properties. Using white vinegar will five the extraction a lovely purple color. For an added boost use apple cider vinegar. Recipe Infuse violet stems and clean leaves and flowers place them in a jar and cover with vinegar of your choice Store in a dark cool place for a week and let them infuse Strain discard the leaves ect bottle and you have a lovely vinegar for your salads , marinades You can also take it as a tonic diluting one Tblsp in water and jug it back lol lol I also read in my research add half a cup of the vinegar to your bath and soak for 15 to 20 min and then add in my goop with this soak Keep some hand next summer good for wasp stings sunburns and even as a hair rinse dilute with water Common blue violet (Viola sororia, Violacea) Cleistogamous violet flower close-up Cleistogamous fruit of the common blue violet with fairy freshwater pearl seeds Sharing the knowledge Posted by Janice Cyre student of aromatherapy certification program Certificate lipid oil academy Labcannamist
