I have procrastinated over the last 3 months and not taken advantage of the online courses that I have purchased at great prices and trust me - I have lots probably a year's worth! Why? You would think that having been laid off, I would use all this spare time constructively but NOPE - the tutors especially tech, have the most boring monotonous voices and content, it feels like I am back in High School all over again in the 80's........ I am now forcing myself to sit through this by giving myself treat to complete 8 - 30 hours of training per course. Pupils, give the tutors honest feedback - tell them they were boring and they need to add some spice to their content. There are so many ways to make it fun but these tutors have chosen not to. The last few months have been tough but I've managed to move, unpack and settle in. On Wednesday, I lost my job. I came home and cried after the initial shock wore off and 2 hours later after talking to one of my rocks, I was calm. I took a deep breath and made a plan to move on. I am strong and resilient and can handle the curveballs being handed to me. I believe everything happens for a reason and looking at this with a positive attitude.... I am truly grateful, thankful and blessed to have my family and friends support, you know who you are. "This too shall pass". So very grateful, thankful and blessed to be where I am today. Family & friends mean everything. I don't know who wrote this but it's beautiful The World is Closed... They said the world was closed today So I went to have a look, I found it with the shutters down And the phone was off the hook. So I stood there for a little while But no one was around, Then silence came and startled me With the most alarming sound.
