This took her to places that were meaningful to their 10 year relationship, such as their first date location, favourite restaurant, and their camp directors home. It ended in the backyard of their home, where Justin hung string lights in the shape of a question mark. He told me where we were going was a surprise. He had rented out an entire movie theatre and had them set up to play my favourite movie - ‘About Time’. How He Proposed series: It was our last night of vacation in the Amalfi Coast. I had planned a private sunset boat tour, but it was cancelled at the last minute due to the one night of poor weather of the whole trip. Using the skills I learned at camp, where Rachel and I met, I quickly came up with a rainy day alternative plan: the skies had cleared up so we could enjoy the last segments of the sunset on a fancy hotel balcony above the sea, followed by a romantic dinner in a lemon-tree garden. Before we could leave our hotel for the evening, I had an important question to ask Rachel and luckily she said yes!
