Dear FB friends of Henteleff Park: Happy August! We hope you've been having a happy, healthy and restful summer. The weather has been amazing which certainly has helped counterpoint the challenges of the spring as well as the ones we are still going through. Our thoughts and good wishes go out to those whose lives have been adversely affected by Covid-19. For Henteleff Park, the summer has been excellent. We've had two work-crews doing amazing work with the trees and trails... and the pilot-project with New Directions has been an important step and a big success. To celebrate the work and the end of the season, we will be having our annual Fall Fest get-together at the park on Friday August 28th from 6:00-8:00 PM. Please join us in the Interpretive Centre for snacks, music and some end-of-season spirit. Look forward to seeing you then! Henteleff Park Foundation

Dear friends of Henteleff Park: Just a couple of notes about the Annual General Meeting and other HP bits. The AGM was well attended this year. We had 10 community guests who asked great questions and one - Terri Ashcroft - who joined the board and has taken on the role of volunteer coordinator. Thank you very much Terri!!! It’s great that you’ve joined on. Another change is that Saul Henteleff has stepped down as President of HP and will now take the position of Past-Preside...nt. Owen Clune is now the President of Henteleff Park Foundation. Owen is an Economist and Policy Analyst with the Province of Manitoba. Congratulations Owen!!! Lastly, HP recently received a Green Team grant from the Province of Manitoba and we have hired 3 more students to help out with work around the place. That’s all for now.
