I work for this amazing spa in St. Thomas, ON. We have to close (again) for 28 days because of Covid-19. Don’t get me wrong - I understand that the numbers are climbing so something needs to be done BUT... We have followed stringent protocols for cleaning and sterilization since the day we opened. And since the beginning of the pandemic, we have followed the rules and put all the required protocols in place to keep our staff and clients safe. In fact, our spa is quite possibl...y safer than most retail stores because our services are almost always one-on-one and physically distanced. Some might say that our industry is being targeted. First of all, how is everyone coping? It sure has been an interesting year so far! I hope that you have been taking some extra time for yourselves and focusing a little more on self-care! Okay...show of hands... Who here has been through the Herbal One program and:... a) gave up part way though and didn't finish? b) got to their goal weight and skipped Stabilization and Maintenance and gained most of their weight back? c) did 1 or 2 (or both) and are now too embarrassed to come back and try again? OR Who here never made the call for a free consultation because they think a weight loss program will make them eat foods they don't like or will break their bank account? YOU'RE NOT ALONE!! I have been doing this for a very long time...the coaching part AND the weight loss part! I TOTALLY GET IT! I didn't think I could afford it. I didn't know if there would be enough food for me (starving to death is NOT an option for someone with chronic food issues). I didn't have the support at home that I thought I needed. I was over 100 lbs overweight and didn't want "saggy skin" (true story!). I could go on... I can't count the number of times that I have messed up and gained some of my weight back! Stress happens...life happens...food binges happen!!
