We are very pleased to announce that our Kidney Fundraiser show with the Tom Vickery Trio raised $956 dollars for The Kidney Foundation of Canada, BC & Yukon Branch plus whatever audiences donated directly to the organization. Thank you to all who donated to this amazing organization!

Live show & Streaming - Chanteuse Kim Greenwood is back with her quartet performing some of the greatest hits form The Carpenters and Burt Bacharach! Karen Carpenter & Burt Bacharach were huge influences on Kim and she is so very excited to be performing many of their amazing tunes backed by her stellar band Ashley Wey on keys, Louis Rudner on bass and Nick Bracewell on drums. Joining Kim are special guests,saxophonist, composer, arranger Barrie Sorensen, flute player, singer and multi-instrumentalist Brenda Morie and harpist Amy Finck. Kim is paying tribute to Karen Carpenter and Burt Bacharach but at the same time creating a unique show with a jazz flair. Whether live or online, hope to see you there!

For the first time, The Laura Deviato Combo presents an evening of original compositions paired with Latin infused Jazz standards at Hermann's Jazz Club! Laura will be joining forces with stellar accompaniment including; Pablo Cardenas on Piano, Louis Rudner on Bass, Hector Ramos on Congas and her longtime musical partner husband Olimpo Ortega on percussion. Of English and Italian descent, Laura was born and raised in Toronto where she studied voice through the Royal Conserva...tory of Music. She further developed her unique musicality during years of living and touring abroad throughout Latin America and Europe, where she had the opportunity to perform and study with many world class musicians, greatly influencing her worldly musical perspective. She has honed her distinct sound and eclectic vocal style by transcending genres and flowing seamlessly from Folk-R&B-Soul-Latin-Jazz in multiple languages. She is now based in Victoria, BC and has recently been a staple in the local music scene collaborating with pianist Pablo Cardenas and The Westcoast Cuban Orchestra in various projects showcasing music of Cuba, Brazil and Latin America, as well as developing a Family Arts Music project with her husband called Lelolai FAM. This will be a very special evening and performance not to be missed!

Tom Power, CBC Radio Q Dr. Patrick Boyle is a fearless sonic explorer driven by discovery. Curiosity is his compass. ...His frontiers are in performance (trumpet and guitar), improvisation, composition and education. Patrick is Associate Professor of Jazz Studies at the University of Victoria. Originally from Newfoundland, Canada, he appears on over 50 commercial releases and 3 acclaimed solo albums. CBC Radio has called him a trumpet personality and one of Canadas top jazz musicians. He has cultivated the rare ability to synthesize a range of influence including jazz, rock, trad, Balkan, and South Indian music which all come together into a rhythmically compelling musical voice.
