Everyone at the club is absolutely devastated to hear of the sudden passing of club stalwart Billy Mair. Billy never missed a match and gave his all to the club, Hermes won’t be the same without him. A legend and a true gent. His passing comes only weeks after the loss of his best pal Billy D. The last few months has been an incredibly sad time for everyone. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time. R.I.P Little Billy

Yesterday’s madness with 10 minutes to go with the score at 1-1. A great finish from Jack Craig, the far side linesman flags and indicates to the referee the ball went wide of the goal,goal kick awarded . The referee agrees even though he’s clearly seen and given the goal. The linesman our side as soon as the goal is scored opens his book and writes down the details. He’s also seen the goal but says he can’t get involved in the situation . Definitely the craziest thing ever seen at Lochside. Fingers crossed this doesn’t cost us a quarter final spot.
