Today we would like to share a quick mention about North America's only marsupial: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=3738981809512809&id=113271962083830
This is the world's fastest animal, the peregrine falcon. If there's birds of prey in your area you've probably heard a lot more noise lately, or possibly even seen them carrying twigs. It's that time of year again! Their courtships are starting for another generation to begin. This one is actually calling out in this amazing photo! (Photo credit: James Hawley)
Monday we discussed the eggs, this is the step when birds will not need to be rescued unless they are in obvious signs of danger (injury or nearby hazards)
This Osprey is bringing one heck of a seafood platter for catch of the day!
#DidYouKnow opossums are one of the only invasive species to not displace or take over an ecosystem? In fact they're very beneficial to have around! Be a hero and help out Canada's only marsupial! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1873823989432691&id=100586653423109
I might be biased but this is one of my favourite wildlife photos I've seen in a while. #didyouknow the cougar has 16 English names? Can you figure them all out?
