I get to work on the coolest projects! And I’m so grateful. A friend asked if I could engrave a hammer handle for him! Mission accomplished! Made a little jig to keep the wood from moving. And practiced on sample pieces first before tackling the hammer just in case . Needed to sand down the curve a little so that the letters could be more visible and not fall off due to the curve ;). And had to make sure that the thickness was similar across the top so that nothing engraved at different depths. Next step is to pour epoxy inside! Very happy with how it turned out.

If you’re going to make an impact do it right and make it big.... very big!!!! Making a 30 x 30 art piece of a lion head!!!!!!!!I must say people ask me to work on some pretty exciting projects and I’m grateful for it!!! I can’t wait to pour the bright colour epoxy into this lion form!!! It’s going to pop!

I got a picture of the reclaimed desk I made being well loved by my friend who it went to! Haha it made me smile because it’s very filled already, I think I even could have made it bigger lol. But I think it’s a good scale for a home office . She loves and that means the world to me!!!!!!!! . Grateful that she and her husband thought of me when they needed a piece made! @madico123
