Today we delivered the results of the bottle drive we ran with our sister chapel, Hulse & English, in St. Catharines to Community Care. Thanks to the help of our communities who donated their bottles and cans and a top up from Hetherington & Deans and Hulse & English funeral homes we raised $3000! That money will go a long way to help those in need. ... Thank you all for your participation. This drive was a great success!

The Bereavement Authority of Ontario in cooperation with the Province has now mandated the wearing of masks effective July 8th. Progress is happening! The numbers to attend funerals and graveside services is increasing!! Receptions with food being served is currently staying at a maximum of 10.

We know this isnt the news many of you want to hear, but it needs to be put out there. Often we are left being the bearers of bad news at an already bad time. As parts of the province start to open up for business we are getting a lot of calls and questions about the number of people permitted at funerals, visitation and burials. The directive for a maximum of 10 is still in place. We are sorry but no guidelines as to when this will change have been shared with Funeral providers yet.
