Evertime I see a post for a furry friend in need of a loving home, I post it in the group The Pet Connection of British Columbia https://www.facebook.com/groups/386460929165685

Hello . I am in a few dog related groups, and do follow rescues, societies, and different organization. And there is a lot of them all over BC. A few things I h...ave noticed over the years is that there is a lack of centralised information. What I mean by that, a quick example, a rescue looking for food donation or towels or any kind of support. Some organization have excess supply, some lack of supply. Someone looking to adopt a pet from a specific group, whereas there is some furry friends waiting in a different organization. I also noticed some organizations are looking for flight partners, well there is so many ride share groups on Facebook. I think that contacting YVR Facebook page could also be cool, and see if you could form a partnership with those guys. I really would love to have a few people joining me, to set up an information and sharing center. I did build a web site not too long ago, and I will be more than happy to create a forum, a sharing centre, you name it. Adding a few pages to my web site with the help of a few IT people, would be a dream. Please let me know what you think, and feel free to share in relevant groups. We all do a lot, I believe that if all the rescues and societies, the SPCA and other organization would join forces by sharing resources and sharing information in a resource center, no one would be left out. Please use this group mainly to post about animals looking for a loving home. Anyone can post, group, pages, rescues, societies, the Idea is to spread the word. As for breeders, as long as you are responsible and caring I have no objection. Please be very specific about your post. Please there is no point of leaving me a message that you are looking for a furry friend, just click on the link or visit the specific group or page or website. Thank you. Hey. For the time being, i am only doing dog walking, security check and bathroom break for your. I only take care of 1 dog at the time. Unless there is more than 1 in your family.
