Important Update: Covid-19/Jr Ticats Spring Season ***This spring cancellation only effects those whom currently play under the Grassroots Minor division of HFA*** Dear Jr. Ticat Family,... I hope everyone is doing well. Amongst the home schooling and all the changes that we have endured, I hope you have used this time to reconnect as a family without all the usual distractions of everyday life Due to the unfortunate circumstances of Covid-19, the HFA and the Ontario Football League officially announce the cancellation of our 2020 Spring season. This decision was made after multiple meetings and many considerations from the government and the provincial governing bodies of sport. Ultimately, we feel the need to protect the kids, coaches and parents first and foremost. We are in constant contact with the Ontario Football Alliance who in turn is in contact with the government bodies daily. We and the OFL are considering possibilities to starting the Fall season early however this can only be accomplished once governmental guidelines allows us to restart. Due to this situation, the HFA is providing you with 2 options for your player's registration and refunds. Option 1 You can leave your deposit or funds in place and the HFA will apply all monies towards the next season of play. Option 2 Players can request a refund of all monies paid for the Spring 2020 season. For further information, please contact us at [email protected]. PLEASE NOTE: The spring cancellation only effects those whom currently play under the Grassroots Minor division of the Hamilton Football Association. Our spring Jr. Ticat players born between 2012-2008 are the only players whom this cancellation effects. Please take care of yourselves and your families during this time. Stay safe and healthy.
