Carson is the latest addition to our team. He's a University of Windsor student entering his third year as an undergraduate in the Civil Engineering Co-op program. We hope he enjoys the next few months at HGS. Welcome to the team, Carson.

We're doing what we can to help our remote workers feel comfortable and safe enough to gradually begin their return to office-life. Today was 'partition day'. It's a small investment worth making to get our family back together. We miss our remote workers very much and appreciate their hard work.

Congratulations to Dr. Medhat Ghabrial, one of HGS' founders, on becoming a Grandfather. Lailah Marie Ghabrial-Ferguson was born April 28th. She is happy, healthy and beautiful, as is her mother. We wish your family all the best and welcome your little bundle of joy to the world.

Last week, we happily welcomed Alan Alarcon to our HGS family. Alan is a registered Geodetic Engineer who studied in the Phillipines. He has worked as a Structural Designer/ CAD Designer & BIM Coordinator in the Phillipines, Japan, and Saudi Arabia; as well as a Project Manager/ Business Development Assistant Manager in Korea. We feel very lucky to have him on our Detailing team. Welcome aboard, Alan. We look forward to working with you for a very long time.

HGS happily welcomes this sweet, little addition to our family. Calin Alessandro Marroquin Vasquez was born March 24th. He had a challenging start to life, but has proven himself to be quite the little fighter. He and Mom are being well taken care of in London. We look forward to meeting him once they are able to come home.

Ann worked with HGS Limited as a Detailer during the summer of 2019. She is happy to be back with us again as a full-time employee. Ann recently graduated with Academic Distinction in Construction Engineering Technology from St. Clair College, and is currently pursuing her registration with the PEO. She is a registered Civil Engineer in the Philippines and worked as a Structural Engineer in the Philippines, Japan, and South Korea prior to coming to Canada. Ann is looking forw...ard to contributing her ideas and knowledge to further the growth and success of HGS Limited. Welcome back Ann!

Ghazal is a student at the University of Windsor working towards her Master of Civil Engineering degree, after having completed her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Ghazal recently joined the team for her Co-op work term, and we are happy to have her. She brings with her an abundance of knowledge and enthusiasm. We look forward to having her with us throughout the summer.

Alexandra and Daniel are both students at the University of Windsor, completing their 3rd year in the Civil Engineering program. It has been a pleasure having them on our team for the past four months as Co-op students. We wish them all the best in their upcoming semester and look forward to having them both back in the fall for their final Co-op work term. Thank you, Alexandra and Daniel for your hard work and commitment. We hope you enjoyed your time with us.

PCI has announced the 2020 Design Award Winners. The winner for Best Retail Building goes to Gate Precast (Winchester, KY) for the Whole Foods Market in Lexington, Kentucky. HGS Limited is proud to have been a part of the Gate team on this beautiful project. Congratulations to everyone involved and a special thank you to Gate Precast, we look forward to working with you again in the future.

The 6th Annual Windsor Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics took place over the weekend and one of our very caring employees, Patricia, participated. Were so proud of you for taking the plunge. BRRRRR!!!!

HGS is proud welcome the newest member of our family. Declan Thomas Pinard was born on February 23rd, weighing 7lbs 13oz. Congratulations Malissa and Justin Pinard!!!

Our family celebrated the holidays at our annual potluck yesterday. We had so much good food to share and laughs together during our gift exchange game. We would like to wish all of our clients, past and present, a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

HGS Limited celebrated our 1 year anniversary under new management with a casual evening of pool and food. Its been a great year. Keep up the good work everyone!

A fantastic time was had at the annual charity golf tournament hosted by The Tricar Group with proceeds going to My Sisters Place. A great day for a great cause.

Staff appreciation night was a success! Were very lucky to be able to spend time together as a group outside of the office to share some laughs and good food. A few showed off their fancy pool playing skills.

March is National Engineering Month. Its Canadas biggest celebration of engineering with over 500 events taking place from coast to coast, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about the many disciplines of a career in engineering.
