IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not congregate at the trail heads! Gathering at the trail heads makes it difficult for others to maintain proper social distancing as is required by public health directives. We really appreciate everything all of our guests do to help us stay open, and keep our operations safe.

A few reminders about trail etiquette: Snowshoers: Please keep off ski trails unless crossing at designated spots. Look both ways before crossing ski trails at designated spot... Yield to skiers at all times Absolutely no stopping on ski trails Step OVER the classic tracks when crossing No dogs allowed on snowshoe trails If you stop on the trails please move out of the way to the side of the trail. Skiers: Do not skate ski on classic tracks Classic skiers must step out of tracks to middle of trail if climbing or descending hills and unable to stay in tracks - no snowplow or herringbone on classic tracks Follow directional signs If you fall please attempt to roll away from classic tracks towards middle of trails to get up If you are a more experienced skier than the person in front of you please ski around them - give them plenty of room and politely let them know you're going to pass, for example, "Hi! I'm passing on your right!" No calling "track" unless it's during a race! If you stop on the trails please move out of the way to the side of the trail. Remember we are extremely privileged to be able to remain open during lockdown! Please respect all rules.

Due to the extention of the recent COVID-19 lockdown measures, we have extended our modified operations at Hiawatha Highlands until January 22nd, 2021. This means that the lodge will remain closed to the public. Passes will be available online and curbside (with credit or debit only.) We ask that you do your best to only ski, snowshoe or bike with the folks in your household and maintain a 2 metre distance with everyone else.
