The amount trimmed off this apple tree is enough to make another apple tree . There is more that needs to be pruned but I think that is enough for this season. The buds are starting to show already. I think this old apple tree will take several years of care before it will be back to full health. Petite, my neighbour's horse is an absolute sweetheart. It didn't take me long to befriend her, especially with an apple or carrot in hand every time I visited. I mean, we have been taking her manure for our garden so it is only right to provide a gift right? Lol. Petite lost her donkey companion a few months back and she is feeling a little lonely. She has gotten to a point of following me around when I drop by her pen, she would keep nuzzling my face and putting her head on my shoulder . We have never bought so many seeds before in our lives! We are preparing our garden layout and where each plant will grow. Its been hard renovating a house and trying to get a vegetable garden started but we are determined to not miss out this season! The coming week will be finishing the fencing and getting the beds ready for seeding. We are very excited. Got a new addition for our living room. An arbequina olive tree. Love its gorgeous blue green leaves, can't wait for its aromatic flowers and we shall see if it fruits this year. We are currently designing the outdoor layout of our homestead and will be working up plans for a greenhouse soon.
