In case you’re wondering when you can get coffee and stuff in the coming weeks, here’s the hours.

The last stroopwafels of the year are made and waiting to be eaten.

Rain or shine we’re out here slingin’ espresso, pouring drip, baking tasty treats. The rain will pass. The wind will mellow out. Keep on keepin’ on, pals. Stay dry. Stay warm. Help others stay dry: drop off your extra rain gear and warm clothing to the folks @bowsxarrowscoffee for distribution to the broader community of unhoused people. Not everyone has a roof and a warm blanket. Grateful for what we’ve got.

Oh hey, Transcend.

Constant change. Lots of reinventing. Plenty of adapting. It’s never static these days. We now have a temporary structure up at our Fairfield shop. We have a few projects that we need help with. We’re in back and forth dialogue with the municipality every day. We need an electrician. We need a carpenter. We’ve had a lot of trouble finding people to do the work. We’ve got plans to keep you dry, keep you sheltered, keep you warm... in short, we need you to keep on coming regardless of the weather. If you’ve got any handy friends with a bit of time send them our way. Until then, we’ll do our best. Thanks!

A big order from our pals at @eightouncecoffee just arrived which means we’ve got grinders from Timemore Coffee, filters and brewers from Chemex, Hario, Kalita and Aeropress, and lots of cups from @huskeecup. We’ve also got locally made cards, @shirinsahbaart books and a few copies left of @driftmag Bali edition. Support local and load up! And obviously we have a huge selection of some of the best coffees the world has to offer. Duh.

Knitters, would you like to have an evening knit night at Fairfield again? 7pm tomorrow night. It gets chilly so dress warm, it may not be long the light will decide.

New season. That means new feature drinks coming down the line. New hours. Renewed focus. Autumn doesnt have to be all about slow decay. Changing leaves, warmer clothes, all that. Good records. Good coffee etc.

Come visit us in our tucked away little secret garden in Fairfield and sit for a while on our patio, or hit up our Oak Bay shop for a quick drink and a bag of beans! Sundays are for coffee.

When there is no one inside this place is a party. We are all celebrating the reprieve from smoke, take a walk with a coffee and enjoy the cool fresh west coast air while you can.

We just received our Kalita order! Filters and brewers on the shelf for your home brewing needs. This is Jesses favourite manual brewer and his go-to at home. If you care for a professional endorsement.
