We’ve been doing it right since we started making our face masks. We’ve left a pocket opening in our masks so that you can add an optional filter. Well it’s time to really make use of that option because The Public Health Agency of Canada is now recommending Canadians choose three layer, non-medical masks with a filter layer to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as they prepare to spend more time indoors over the winter. Chief Public Health Officer Teresa Tam made this recommenda...tion during her biweekly pandemic briefing in Ottawa last week. To improve the level of protection that can be provided by non-medical masks or face coverings, we are recommending that you consider a three layer non-medical mask, she said. Our filters are exactly what they’ve recommended. A non-woven polypropylene fabric. These filters are washable and reusable. A package of 3 is $5.
