Hello Parents and Students of High Level school of music. Garth and I are still willing and able to teach this week. But for those of you who would rather, we are offering zoom call lessons. Piano lessons for me began at 6 years old and ended at 23. That's 17 years of lessons and for many years, 5 hours of day playing scales and pieces. I'm glad tha...t my parents "forced" me. LOL My Dad studied for many years but he is naturally talented. I play because of sheer determination and little talent. My Dad's goal for me was to become a concert pianist. While I enjoy playing Chopin, Mozart and Beethoven, I favor playing Andrae Crouch. Whatever your thing is, put all your effort into it. Keep at it and watch what you can do. It's not always about talent. Sometimes it's more important to just work hard at it. Imagine if I had given up after a year or 10 years. Don't give up!
