The High Prairie Food Bank would like to send a Huge THANK YOU to the Alberta Health Services Staff in High Prairie for their donation. They collected 445lbs of food for the High Prairie Food Bank. Thank You Again for your support

The High Prairie Food Bank is still accepting hamper applications over the phone until Wednesday December 23rd, 2020. Last day for scheduled hamper pick ups will also be Dec 23rd. Hours of Operations for over the phone applications are Monday-Friday 10am-3pm. Closed 12pm- 1pm for lunch. Scheduled Hamper pickups are Weds, Thurs & Fridays 10am-3pm. Closed 12pm-1pm for lunch. Please Share...As some of you may heard on our local radio station promoting an upcoming fundraiser with the High Prairie Fire Department collecting food for the High Prairie Food Bank this Sunday December 13, 2020. Due to the new provincial restrictions the HP Fire Department will NOT be setting up at the grocery stores to collect donations for the High Prairie Food Bank. However we still ask you to think about donating at either stores. Freson Bro's- High Prairie will cont...inue to have the $20 food hampers or you can donate $2.00 on your grocery bill at the till. on Sunday Dec 13th, Wholesale Market- High Prairie will continue to have the $100 Meat Pack Draw If any person donates a food item to the HP Food Bank or adds $2.00 to their grocery bill at the till, can enter into the draw. High Prairie Fire department will be at Wholesale Foods and Freson Brothers on Sunday Dec 13 from 11:00 - 2:00. We are kicking off the annual Food bank drive fo...r Christmas. Members will keep social distancing at the forefront and safe procedures will be developed for everyone's safety. This year is especially important for our community to band together and support the many people that may require a basic meal in the coming months.
