Hey Highball family.. good news! We are finally able to open!! We will be closed this Wednesday and Thursday so that we can finish preparing to make sure Highball is safe and secure for your return. We will definitely be ready to open Friday at 1:00 pm I will also have a Dinner Special available on Friday for takeout, delivery and now to eat in! I am still working out some of the details but I will update you as soon as possible. Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding. I am so excited to see you all again! Much luv.. xo

Hey there Highball family :) I keep waiting to give you all an update with an opening date.. well this isn’t it :( But I do feel like it’s coming soon. We are all currently under the same Emergency Order that has been extended until June 30, 2020. We are however in Stage 2 which is good news for many and definitely in the right direction :) I am still hopeful that we will be able to close out the 2019-20 Season. I will wait another week or two and then make a final decisio...n. If anyone is in need financially please contact me and we can work something out. Moving forward I am still optimistic that by September we will be allowed to open on some level. That level is yet to be determined so we will have to wait a bit longer and roll with the changes. In the meantime we’ve been working on a lot at Highball. One of the things I’ve been trying to do for years is a wall mural.. and thanks to the amazing and talented Jeff Marceau we finally got it done :) I can’t wait for you all to see it! There is something I have been missing terribly and that is cooking for all of you! So I have taken all the necessary steps to make that happen and I’m happy to say that this Thursday I will be starting takeout and delivery. This goes perfectly with something else I’ve started a hundred times and that’s creating a website! So I took that off of my list and great timing because I also included an online ordering page. I’ve really enjoyed designing it and I’m excited to put it out there :) It’s www.highballbilliards.ca if you want to order or even if you just want to check it out. It’s full of pics and info and you can bookmark to be able to see the stats weekly. So I’m super pumped to get going and can’t wait to see some of you if you decide to order something for pickup! Hey there Highball family I can’t tell you how much I miss everyone! Nothing like a little ‘social distancing’ to truly appreciate all of your friends and family I just wanted to give you another update. As you all know we are currently still under lockdown. All emergency orders have been extended until May 6, 2020 at least. We should hear in the coming weeks of any plans to slowly lift the restrictions. It’s unclear what that will mean for Highball in particular. I will ...have to roll with the changes, but I will definitely keep you informed. Obviously the Season Finale (that would have been today!) will be postponed. But I will do my best to find an appropriate date to reschedule in safer times. I have also been working on a few different scenarios to complete the current season. I feel like there is a lot at stake so I will make it happen, one way or the other. I am hopeful that we will still have a Summer Singles League so I am preparing for that as well, even if it’s a shorter version. I will still be taking it one day at a time, but definitely message me if anyone is interested. I am highly optimistic that by September the next League Season will be up and running. I know it’s a scary time but together we can make it work. I will make adjustments accordingly as the new restrictions and guidelines come out. But moving forward I will continue to take team registrations. Please contact me to sign up or for more information. I’m the meantime I am still working away here at Highball getting the place ready for when this is all over! Yesterday I spoke to a representative from our district health unit and as of midnight last night I am required to remain closed for another 2 week period. I will be working hard during this time to deep clean, organize and update the bar to prepare for all of you to return. It continues to be a difficult time for us all but I am co...mmitted to reopening no matter how long it takes and I want to make Highball better than it has ever been I have made a decision with regards to the league season.. the season that we are so close to finishing! I absolutely will find a way to play it out once the world is safe again In the meantime we are all facing our own struggles, quite possibly financially for most of you. I believe that now is a time that we could all use a little help. So I have decided to disperse the prize payouts that have accumulated so far. At this point everyone is guaranteed at the very least a last place prize payout. So basically if we had the banquet right now each player would walk out with a minimum $100 per person per league night. So this is what I will be giving back to you all now. When we do finish the season, the teams will fall into their place in the standings and you will all receive the balance. I realize that some situations might be different with regards to the splitting of prize money so just let me know and I can help work out the details. To keep it safe I will do all of this via etransfer. Please message me your email address and I will contact those who are not on FB and as soon as I have everything I can get this done. I made this decision based on concerns for the health and safety of my customers, league members and my staff. It was an extremely difficult decision but a necessary one. As you all know this situation is evolving practically by the minute so I will re-evaluate daily and update everyone as soon as possible. I know a lot o...f you will have concerns with regards to the current league season but I promise you that I am working hard to come up with a solution. It’s going to take a bit of creativity but with your patience and understanding I know together we can make it happen. I also want you to know that I will do everything in my power to make sure that you all have a ‘home’ to come back to when we get through this. And we most definitely will get though this. That I am sure of. Thank you all for your constant unwavering support. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones and we will be together again soon xoox

Thank u so much to everyone who came out yesterday for the Monthly Tourney! What an awesome day.. we had so much fun! And the pool playing was exceptional. It was great to see the improvement in the players. I can’t wait to see what happens next season!
