From Hockey Alberta: Hockey Alberta is very proud to host a variety of skill development camp options this Spring in Calgary. Families can choose to participate in a $99 camp, a $199 camp, or a $299 camp that best fits within their family budget.... The camps are being hosted in modern sport and recreation facilities in Calgary that are placing a top priority on cleanliness and physical distancing. These facilities include VIVO, the Shane Homes YMCA @ Rocky Ridge, and the Brookfield Residential YMCA @ Seton. Every child that participates in a Hockey Alberta camp will take home a new Hockey Alberta branded CCM practice jersey. There will be camp options for boys and girls in the U7, U9, U11, U13, and U15 age groups. Spots are limited, so sign up today! Hockey Alberta recently advised HCMHA of updated restrictions as part of The Path Forward plan from the Alberta Government, including allowing up to 10 participants on a half ice surface. After careful consideration, HCMHA has decided not to organize practices until restrictions have been removed to a level that allows minor hockey to occur in a similar fashion to what existed before Christmas. We do not anticipate that happening until next season. Please check your inbox for more details and options individual teams might consider. Thank you for your patience as we work through the financials to refund fees on a pro-rated basis.

In light of the recent announcements from AHS, the various minor hockey leagues, Hockey Alberta and AHS are meeting today to discuss the guidelines and how they will be applied to the minor hockey associations. Any updates will be sent out to the team managers as soon as we receive them. Thank you for your patience, HCMHA Board of Directors
