With the office now open, I'd like to let everyone know how a few things are changing. First off, before entry, people must agree to the following statements: I acknowledge that I am not currently experiencing, nor have I experienced in the past 14 days in the case of clinic staff (aka me), symptoms consistent with COVID-19, such as: 1. A fever ... 2. A new or changed chronic cough 3. A sore throat that is not related to a known or pre-existing condition 4. A runny nose that is not related to a known or pre-existing condition 5. Nasal congestion that is not related to a known or pre-existing condition 6. Shortness of breath that is not related to a known or pre-existing condition I acknowledge that I have not been in close contact with any individuals who have a confirmed or presumptive positive diagnosis of COVID-19 in the past 14 days. I acknowledge that I have not traveled outside of the province of Nova Scotia in the past 14 days, or currently have an exemption order. If you are not able to confirm all of the above statements, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment and contact 811 for further instructions. I ask that everyone please wait in their car prior to their appointment and, assuming you meet the above criteria, I will wave you in for your appointment. Should you be unable to wait in your car, please take the seat as far away from others or the desk as possible. Upon entry, you are required to wash or sanitize your hands. These measures are in place for the safety of everyone, both at the office, in your homes, and the community at large. I thank you in advance for your patience in these new and uncharted times.

Unfortunately, due to the continued state of emergency, and in keeping with public health guidance, the office will remain closed for the sole of April 6-10. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and has a happy Easter.

I hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected through these trying times. Due to the continued spread of COVID-19 and, the ongoing need for us all to do our part and practice social distancing, the office will remain closed through the week of March 30th - April 2nd. I will be taking it week by week at this point and will re-open as soon is it can be done safely. Be kind to each other, and I look forward to doing my best to help you as soon as I am permitted.

After much consideration, I have decided to temporarily close the office due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. As I'm sure you're well aware, the practice of chiropractic, by its very nature, is extremely hands-on. We all need to do our best to enforce social distancing to help "flatten the curve". By so doing, it is hoped that we as a province/country, can minimize the impact on the healthcare system as a whole and ensure that those who are most in need of acute care can receive it. I did not come to this decision lightly and truly feel it is in the best interest of not just my patients, but the population as a whole. To anyone heading in for an appointment this afternoon (Monday the 16th). It appears that there is another accident at the Beech Hill - Trunk 4 intersection. Please drive safely and consider an alternate route.

Due to an accident at the Beech Hill - Hwy #4 intersection anyone coming to the office today is advised to take Old South River Road. There are a highway truck and cones blocking the way. Just speak to the man in the truck and tell him where you're going and he'll let you pass.
