Using a craftool Pro Handpress to set Sam Browne studs. I use a small sample of granite to make up for not having a tool in the press and use the anvil to press the stud instead. Its not done but its done for now. This book is completely hand made. 100 sheets of 28lb paper, each individually folded and separated into signatures. All the signatures hand stitched together before being covered by this natural veg tanned leather giving my a journal of approximately 394 pages. Finished up this double sheath for this lilmuk by @fiddlebackforge and this hunter by @quickhatchknives the sheath is made from full grain leather, hand stitched and sealed with beeswax. The side for the fiddleback was wetformed to provide a friction fit where the quick hatch is secured with a snap closure. Testing out a new prototype foraging bag, made from veg tanned leather and canvass. This one is a bit different than ones Ive made in the past.
