The endangered Tonquin Valley woodland caribou feeding in the meadows by Amethyst lake. Always a special encounter. This fella was on a feeding mission and walked right towards us. We had the chance to spend some quality time watching him do his thing on his turf. A huge loss it would be to lose our woodland caribou populations!
