Ever since we found out that her heart and lu...ngs were not able to work properly she had a large team of medical professionals who she had been seeing every week since she was born for the last seven months. Annabelle also donated her Thymus gland which is turned into a serum for people who require organ transplants for their body to not reject the new organs. Thank you CHEO for saving our baby Annabelle with open heart surgery to patch a hole, fix a valve, patch another hole and mend her artery last Tuesday November 3, 2020 and released from hospital on Friday November 6, 2020. We put all our trust and faith in the hands of Doctor Marahajh who did the operation flawlessly and gave our baby a chance to grow and live life. She would not have lived if we waited for a few weeks and she was already on 2nd attempt to surgery when she go...t fever six weeks ago. Despite her heart condition she had hyper energy before and her surgeon laughed that after he fixes her heart she will have double the energy and I almost cried as he laughed but the energy she has is what makes her strong and she came out of the hospital after 4 days. What a miracle baby she is. 7 months old and thriving like babies her age. She is able to gain weight rather than burn all her calories as her heart was pumping blood into her lungs and now she’s ready to start walking soon because she is fed up with crawling around using her forehead. I gave such a long list of everyone who helped us thru all this from the doctors nurses and food services and the cleaners ensuring that everything is clean to prevent the spread of sickness.
