Over the years, we've seen some pretty incredible old items. Pieces of history that can take you back to another time: glass- and ambrotype negatives, countless photographs dating back 5+ generations, even a violin from the 19th century. The feeling I get when such an item is in my hands is always the same... I imagine the photographer who held the camera or the hands that held the paintbrush, and a sense of wonder comes over me. If ever there was a way to connect us all toge...ther, it is to pass to the next generation something from the past. These paintings were done by my customer's grandfather. One is an oil on canvas done in 1920.
