Highway to Healing Support Society

Today was a VERY good day....just happened to load up four boxes of some of the best wines in the Okanagan.... no, that's inaccurate... some of the best wines in THE WORLD. The cellar of 44 bottles of wine was donated by Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country to our Society, and will be used to raise funds to support our mission. Member wineries all contribute from their cellars every year, and OOWA has very generously donated them to us to help us as we support families from Osoyoos, ...Oliver and OK Falls who must travel to access medical care for their child. We offer a huge THANK YOU to all of the member wineries for contributing so much to your communities. It isn't just a trite saying when we state that we could not do it without you. We are always aware of this, and thank you on behalf of our families for your ongoing support.

Osoyoos Home Building Centre thank you! It is only through community support that Highway to Healing can support local families. If you haven't been to the new location pop in - they have pretty much anything you might need and Brendan and the staff are really fantastic with their service. It has been quite a year!

So blown away by the support from Bill and Fairview cellars - he has helped us gift so many families with financial support as they travel through their very difficult circumstances. Bill’s generosity of spirit and the community support in general truly makes me realize the beauty of this place in which I have chosen to build my life. Thank you to everyone who has offered their time, expertise and funds in support of our charity!!!

In a move to support local families, Fairview Cellars announces a major financial donation of $10,000 to a small, local charity. Because my business has thrived this season, even during this pandemic, I saw an opportunity to pay it forward to those in my area who may be struggling says Bill Eggert, owner of Fairview Cellars. The $10,000 in funding brings this donor’s total donation to $60,000 in four years. The gift goes directly to Highway to Healing Support Society (H2H)... located here in the South Okanagan. Their mission is simple: To assist families from Osoyoos, Oliver and OK Falls who must travel to obtain medical care for their child. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, H2H has not been able to execute its usual fundraising efforts. The donation is one of several made over the past years by Eggert to Highway to Healing. We are calling Bill our angel donor, said Tracy MacFadden, President of Highway to Healing. We know Bill has always supported his community, but to benefit to this degree is astounding. She adds This funding has allowed H2H to support families by taking away some of their financial worries during their time of crisis. #OliverBC Canada's Wine Capital
