Highway Companion

Tom Petty's solo album Wildflowers is a study in crafting brilliant songs. It was released by Warner in 1994, produced by Rick Rubin, and featured all of the members of The Heartbreakers with the exception of drummer Stan Lynch. Steve Ferrone and Petty's pal Ringo handled the drumming on the album. The trippy song It's Good To Be King conjures elements of late '60s psychedelia and is a joy to play. We absolutely love playing this song as part of the Highway Companion show.
