Highwaymen Car Club 09.05.2021

The time has come to share yet another round of unfortunate news. Graffiti 2021 has been cancelled. We cannot in good faith place our members or our guests in danger by gathering prematurely. In fact, it is likely that neither the Region of Waterloo nor the Township of Woolwich would permit the event from taking place anyway. As this year marks our 60th anniversary, we were hoping to do something really special. We may be able to host something in the fall provided that th...e number of Covid cases continue to head in the right direction, and regional restrictions are eased. Please keep your eyes on this page for updates. We will miss our new and returning guests, our sponsors, and the great folks from the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, as they are an integral part to our annual success! Please continue to be safe and be kind to one another, and join us in looking forward to the next time we are able to get together!

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, we weren't able to have a Christmas party this year. Instead, the members of the Highwaymen Car Club decided to make a donation to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region's Winter Food Drive. Our donation to this very deserving organization will help provide meals to 4,500 people during these challenging times. https://www.thefoodbank.ca/... https://www.facebook.com/FoodBankWatReg/ See more

The Highwaymen Car Club held an emergency meeting this past Sunday afternoon, and the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel this year's Graffiti 2020 car show. This decision was not made lightly, and the Club felt that considering the uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, it was the safest, most responsible choice. While we are saddened that the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada will not benefit from our fundraising efforts this year, the Highwaymen Car... Club promises to be back in 2021 with an even bigger, better show! Until then please be safe, and use this global situation to focus on family, friends, and the truly important things in life.
