Have you found it hard to get back into a routine? Having a hard time finding your groove? Me too!... I know what helps me thrive. Waking up early, reading, journaling and taking time first thing in the morning to center myself. Yet for the past few weeks it’s felt more forced and hard unlike the past. What I’ve done differently this year is allowed myself to feel these feeling. I’ve given myself the grace and space to try something new. Only to arrive back where I am today. Grateful for routine. It’s ok to break routine and go with the flow. To go or where you’re at. Allowing yourself to find what you need will allow for the growth and rejuvenation you need to come back stronger. So today if you’re still feeling off it’s ok. Love yourself the whole way through the process. It won’t last forever. C

No, you are the gift The other day my sister left for me on my desk at work these absolutely stunning earrings with a thank you note for HIIT30. Having a place to come to help relieve stress has been a gift to her. This time of year is filled with expectations and traditions. Meal planning and house cleaning all to get us ready for the big day. We can feel overwhelmed with what we eat and drink wanting to have it but beating ourselves up after. ... I need you to remember this. You are the gift of 2020. We must not look at what we didn’t do but rather all that weve come through. The ups and downs, the unpredictable circumstances you have gone through and see what you were able to do. Sure maybe we fell off the proverbial wagon a time or two but did you get back on. Yes, yes you did! That is something to celebrate, that is the gift. You are strong and capable of anything. You are doing your best and it is enough. You showed up for family and friends when they needed it, you pushed through days that seem impossible. You’ve always had what it takes and you don’t need anything more. You are the gift. The human body consists of so much water! #GetHydrated #DrinkYoWater!! Bad breath or dry mouth? When we don’t drink enough water, our body produces additional saliva which has antibacterial properties. Because of this additional bacteria in the mouth you may experience bad breath. You may also experience a dry mouth, as water helps to hydrate the mucus membranes in the throat.... Muscle and joint pain Lack of water in the body increases the friction between the bones, which causes painful joints. Headaches and dizziness Headaches are often the result of dehydration. This is caused by the reduced flow of oxygen and blood to the brain due to insufficient water intake. Constipation and digestive issues? Want to improve your transit time? Drink more water. First thing in the morning have a tall glass of water with fresh lemon or lime. Fatigue and lethargy? Proper hydration will keep you alert and energetic. Dehydration can also cause lethargy and fatigue, as the lack of water in the brain leads to low blood pressure and insufficient supply of oxygen throughout your body. Next time you want to boost your energy drink some water and see what happens! DRINK UP!
