A peculiar year, no doubt. I’ve been trying to shift the focus off what we’ve lost - or had to put on hold - and instead look at what good has come. And there has been SO MUCH GOODNESS. Watching folks find new hobbies. The resiliency. The persistence at finding ways to show caring in the face of a very long Code Red. There was so much goodness. Todays’ adventure: we hiked Top of the World in Falcon Lake, MB. If you’re heading here, you can access Top of the World trail via High Lake. Top of the World was outstanding and put on such a beautiful show with freshly fallen snow blanketing the trees and carpeting the forest floor. High Lake is a shared access trail so please (pleaseeeeee) stay off the groomed ski tracks. Keep your dogs leashed (at all times) but also off the groomed ski tracks. Go for a hike. Play in the ...snow. Take photos of neat stuff in nature. Eat snacks.
